The Edmonton Mountain Bike Alliance is thrilled to announce that the Edmonton Bike Park is officially happening!

Thanks to an approved $612,999 grant from the Government of Alberta’s Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP), we now have the final piece of funding needed to begin construction.

Breaking Down the Funding

Here’s how we made it happen:

  • Government of Alberta CFEP Grant: $612,999

  • City of Edmonton RPFIP Grant: $407,000

  • Private Sponsorships & Donations: $177,000

In addition, EMBA and the City of Edmonton are working to finalize commitments around an operations plan to support bike park maintenance and ensure its long-term success.
